We celebrate the baptisms of Hugo Barker-Muzzell at St Peter and St Paul Church, West Wittering and Phoebe Lambert at St Nicholas Church, Itchenor.

 We give thanks for the life of Margaret Eyre, Daniel Stride and Hilary Fleet; and pray God’s comfort for those who are grieving.

Collect for the Second Sunday before Advent

Heavenly Lord,

you long for the world’s salvation:

stir us from apathy,

restrain us from excess

and revive in us new hope

that all creation will one day be healed

in Jesus Christ our Lord.
