‘Hine Ma Tov’ – Behold, how good based on Psalm 133:1.
How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!
Some of our congregations will remember Revd Imtiaz who came and spoke to us about his work for Release International with persecuted Christians in Pakistan. Were we not moved and humbled to hear of the joy they felt to gather together to celebrate their faith?
This Sunday we celebrate all the saints, living and departed, and most especially those whose lives have witnessed to the love of God in Christ despite huge trail and tribulation.
We may have something on this Sunday and not be able to be together to celebrate – oh well – they’ll be some others there won’t there, to be joyful?
God of holiness, your glory is proclaimed in every age: as we rejoice in the faith of your saints, inspire us to follow their example with boldness and joy; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
We continue to pray for:
Conor Jones, Ian Gray and family, Carole Richardson, Baby Clemmie, Janet & David Drake, Peter Barnett and Snowdrop.
And those who have recently died and their loved ones.
Robert Shippam, Patricia Cross, Felicity Bowring, Ian Chrismas and Patricia Salmon
