Well, have you heard the news? I am taking on the role of Church Warden at St. James for a year because it is a very important time for our Church Family with the new St. James Centre up and running thanks to our generous and hardworking members and it is a time for renewal and re-imagining for our community. We have been asked by Bishop Martin to focus on growth both spiritually and numerically and my role as Church Warden will be a strategic one to focus on GROWTH so that our light at St. James shines brightly within our village. Yes, growth means we will need to change but that is exciting and life-affirming! I hope you will help and support me as we journey on this way together.

In Christ,
Susan Monks

Almighty and everlasting God, who in your tender love towards the human race sent your Son our Saviour Jesus Christ to take upon him our flesh and to suffer death upon the cross; grant that we may follow the example of his patience and humility, and also be made partakers of his resurrection; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.  Amen

We continue to pray for:
Clemmie, Michael Palmer, Guy Solan, Ellen Chapman and Kris Tippen

And those who have recently died and their loved ones:
Kathleen Moore and Alan Blake

If you know of anyone who needs our prayers or would appreciate a visit, please let the Rector or the Parish Administrator know.
