Harbour Churches Worship

We continue to offer a Covid secure 8am Holy Communion (BCP) each Sunday St Peter and St Paul, West Witterings and alternate weeks at St James, Birdham and St Nichols. Itchenor – starting this Sunday at St Nicks. Please remember to book for these services.

We gather online for live worship via Zoom at 10am THIS Sunday and then from Sunday 23rd May @ 10am, we worship together in person at an outdoor service held at St James, Birdham. You do not need to book for this service but tack and trace will be required. Bring a folding chair/blanket/warm clothing/flask of coffee and a brolly! We will let you know in good time what the wet weather provision will be.

This Sunday Jonathan will be leading our worship and Eric preaching on what it means to be a ‘church without walls’ and how our 5 Ts free us to be a church reaching out in Christ-like service. The central text will be from Luke 5. 33-39.

We continue to name in our prayers:

Stella Boyse, Carrie Goddard, Charlie Gray, Anne Yeomans, Eloise and baby Elijah – and we thank God for the life of Margaret Thorpe and John Haines.

The shorter Collect for this Sunday:

Risen Christ,
as we rejoice at your triumph,
fill your Church on earth with power and compassion,
that all who are lost in sin
may find forgiveness and know your peace
to the glory of God the Father.
