Harbour Churches Sofa Service 18th April

Sofa Service : ‘Were you there?’

Today’s Sofa service shares in asking the question that the Easter moment confronts: ‘Were you there?’. We read in Luke 23. 36-43 of the fear felt by the disciples as they are confronted the risen Christ.

Chris Rice performing the spiritual ‘Were you there?’ opens the service, and we close with the great Sidney Carter hymn ‘When I needed a neighbour’ performed by the Sloane Chamber Choir.

Harbour Churches continue to prayer for Charlie Gray, Carrie Goddard, Stella Boyse, Anne Yeomans, baby Elijah and Eloise.

The Collect for the third Sunday of Easter:

Risen Christ,
you filled your disciples with boldness and fresh hope:
strengthen us to proclaim your risen life
and fill us with your peace,
to the glory of God the Father.

Littles Service returns next week 😊
