On Sunday, October 30th, we shall be celebrating All Saints’ Day and our main service will be an All Age Eucharist at 10am. Our preacher will be The Venerable Douglas McKittrick, Archdeacon of Chichester. It will be an extra special celebration because during the service The Archdeacon will bless and dedicate the refurbished west end space in memory of Oliver Pettinati who died in November 2006 at the age of three years. Many of you will have seen the glass door etched with Judy Francis’ beautiful dragonfly design signifying the joyful hope of life after death.
The space will provide a welcoming, child-friendly haven where small restless people may be taken during services for diversionary activities, such as holy crayoning, playing with toys and looking at books!
Everyone is most welcome to this very special service which will be followed by celebratory fizz and cake at the back of the church.
